This pattern is available from crabapplesboutique.com for $4.99.

This timeless sweater and matching beret is designed to fit the American Girl and other 18” dolls. It utilizes an easy technique that creates the two-tone design using two colors of yarn. The sweater opens down the front and has three buttonholes for closure. It has a collar knitted in a seed stitch, and a contrasting sleeve cuff and band on the bottom. The front band has a stripe pattern, offset by a contrasting slip-stitch border. The body of the sweater is all knit as one piece (no side seams!), and the sleeves are set into the armhole. The beret is knitted flat and does NOT require double pointed needles. Both written instructions and easy to-follow charts are included in the PDF pattern.
