The Ezza headband is knitted in the round as one piece and then folded. The cast-on and bind-off edges are placed in the middle of the inside of the headband, and these are then joined together with mattress stitch in stockinette stitch.
The fold edges are knitted with purl stitches to ensure they stay in place.
The inside of the headband is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the outside is knitted in pattern stitch.

Garment measurements: Fits head circumference 54/55 (56/58) 59/62 cm
Yarn: Sandnes Alpakka Wool (100 m).
Alternative yarn: Rauma Mitu, Drops Lima
Yarn quantity: 2 skeins in all sizes
Recommended needles: Circular needles 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm (40 cm) or the needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. If the gauge does not match, use a larger or smaller needle.
Gauge: 22 stitches in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 cm.
21 stitches in pattern stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 10 cm
Additional materials: Crochet hook 4 mm and some leftover yarn in a contrasting color.
