Recommended needles:circular needle 4 mm / US 6, 4.5 mm / US 7 and 5.5 mm / US 9 (40 cm / 16” for neck, neckband and sleeves), circular needle 4.5 mm / US 7 and 5.5 mm / US 9 (60–120 cm / 24–47”) double pointed needles 4.5 mm / US 7 and 5.5 mm / US 9 for sleeves (rib edge on smaller sizes)
If using Magic Loop, double pointed needles are not necessary.

Gauge: 16 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch using 5.5 mm / US 9 needles

If you knit tighter when working colorwork with multiple strands, you may go up half a needle size for the pattern section to achieve the correct gauge.
