A color fade worked in two colors using stranded colorwork for a clean, bold transition.

The Fade Chalk Bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. The top edge folds over to hold an adjustable cinch cord, and the finished bag is lined in fleece to keep chalk dust contained. It works just as well as a dog treat pouch or small cinch bag — clip it to your harness or your leash.
A great project for knitters who want to explore color work without a complex motif — the fade technique is approachable and the result is bold.
