Design specifications
“Featherly Light” sweater is very light and airy, an ideal garment to be worn indoors during winter timeor on chilly summer evenings. This is a top down, seamless sweater with lace panel in front and on the sleeves. Making of this sweater starts with the upper back. Then the shoulders are picked up from the cast on edge and joined together with cast on stitches on the neckline. Back and front panel are joined together in the round when stitches are cast on for the underarms. The body is knitted in the rounds till the end of ribbed waistband, without waist shaping. After the body is completed, stitches are picked up around the sleeve openings and will be shaped up with short rows and later knitted in the rounds.
