Fiona Dog Sweater is a warm and easy-to-wear winter sweater designed for large dogs. A similar pattern for smaller dogs can be found at: https://ravel.me/fiona-for-dogs
The pattern includes separate hem instructions for female and male dogs, as well as instructions for a harness opening.
The sweater is worked top-down from the collar to the hem. Front leg sleeves are worked last and are optional.
The stranded colorwork pattern is beginner-friendly, with no long floats and only two colors per round.
The pattern includes 6 sizes:

Choose a size that is approximately 3–8 cm (1–3”) larger than your dog’s chest. The slighthly loose fit makes the sweater easy to put on and allows a harness to be worn underneath.
Suitable for any bulky-weight yarn, approximate usage:
- Main color (e.g. dark grey): 180(210)240(270)300(330) g
- Background color (e.g. white ): 70(70)75(75)80(80) g
- Contrast colors (e.g. light grey, light yellow, dark yellow): 15–25 g per color

Pusero neulotaan ylhäältä alas kauluksesta helmaan. Etutassujen hihat neulotaan lopuksi, mutta ne voi jättää halutessaan neulomattakin.
Kirjoneulekuvio on helppo ilman pitkiä langanjuoksuja, vain kahta väriä kerrallaan.
