A large triangular shawl with a center panel. The varying increases along the sides and panel create a pleasing wave effect that complements the center panel curves, contrasting with the geometric effect of the Shetland fir cone motifs. The pattern is recommended for intermediate or experienced lace knitters.

The size can be varied according to the taste of the knitter, and gauge is not critical in this project. Materials: circular knitting needle 60cm or 100cm, crochet needle, yarn needle, stitch markers.

Lana Grossa Setapura silk and Schachenmayr Regia Premium Silk were used for the two shawls seen in the photos.
