I am very delighted to announce our new collaboration with Mominoki Yarn. This vest named FIVE, worked in their German Merino Light, is characterized by a check pattern and a big high collar. The association of the Slip stitch rib and Ladder stitch creates a pleasant rhythm and a 3-dimensional relief that the German Merino Light can render well. Slip stitch rib, with its highly defined vertical columns, creates a more textured and impressive fabric than ordinary rib stitches. Sturdy and beautiful, it is perfect for a high collar and provides a solid baseline for the high collar to stand up. Moreover, it’s easy to work! It’s one of my favorite rib stitches. Ladder stitch is a ladder-like pattern characterized by yarn running vertically. The front is worked in a check pattern associating this ladder stitch with 3-color horizontal stripes. The back is in contrast deliberately worked in a single color, for a textured and chic feel. A particular attention was paid to its plush high collar and the sides’ button closure you can keep closed or unbuttoned. The vest is reversible and you can flip the front and back. Please style it freely according to your mood and outfits. Worked switching German Merino Light’s colors regularly and repeating 2 stitch patterns throughout, it is a pleasant pattern and your hands naturally follow the agreeable rhythm.

Mominoki Yarn とのコラボレーションが、また新たに実現しました。チェック柄とボリュームのあるハイネックがアイコニックな、German Merino Light で編むベスト “FIVE” です。 “変形リブ” と “ラダーステッチ” の2種類のステッチを組み合わせて、GMLならではの立体感と、リズムのあるパターンに仕上げました。“変形リブ” は、縦方向の凹凸が際立ち、一般的なリブよりも立体的で存在感のある編み地になります。ハイネックにぴったりのしっかりとした美しいリブで、襟の立ち上がりのラインもとても綺麗に決まります。しかも簡単に編めるので、私のお気に入りのリブなのです。“ラダーステッチ” は、糸を縦に渡らせた、はしごのような模様編み。前身頃は、そのラダーステッチと、3色の横縞とを組み合わせて、チェック柄をデザインしました。後ろ身頃はあえて1色でまとめ、陰影が際立つシックな雰囲気に。また、たっぷりとした長いネック、開閉自由なボタン仕様の両脇もこだわりポイント。前後どちらを前にしても着用できるリバーシブルタイプです。気分やスタイリングに合わせて自由に楽しんでください。GMLを順に切り替えながら、2種類の編み模様を繰り返す… 自然と手がリズミカルに動いていく“FIVE” パターンの心地よさを、味わってもらえますように。
