Are there any desserts you love to look at, but hate to eat? For me, flan pudding is one of those desserts. Looks delicious, I love the colors and the texture (along with that perfect wiggle), but the taste isn’t always my favorite. With a yarnified version, I can enjoy the delectable look of a flan without any of the parts I don’t like. And now, so can you!

(And this one is even squishable!!!)

All my patterns assume a basic knowledge of crochet techniques, and any special stiches used will be explained as needed. This pattern is: Beginner Level. It includes techniques like color changes, working in joined rows, and light sewing.

Three colors are required for this flan. Yellow, brown, and red.

You can easily make three or four flan bases with a skein of Soft and Shiny or equivalent yarn. Brown or a caramel colored secondary yarn should be used for the top, but uses an insignificant amount of it. The same can be said for the red raspberry.
