Reminiscent of a wrapped sweater style but much simpler to wear and far more versatile.This rectangular shawl divides at the neck with two ties for some interesting variations. Soon to become a favourite.

Measurements:
After blocking approx. back length 20”- back width 17 1/2”
ties width 6” - ties length 24 1/2”

Gauge: After blocking 18 ½ stitches x 25 rows in 4” square stocking stitch.

Yarns used:
Cascade 220 Superwash Wave   100% Superwash Wool  100gr. 200 meters 
3 skeins of colour # 104

Supplies:
5mm/US8 needles.
4 Stitch markers.
Tapestry needle.

Abbreviations:
K……………………. knit.
P…………………….. purl.
SL1KW…………….slip one stitch knitwise, as if to knit.
K2tog……………… knit the next two stitches together to decrease
one stitch.
M1R………………. make one right. Increases one stitch.
Using left hand needle pick up the bar between
stitches on needles from
from back to front. Then knit one stitch through
the front loop.

PM………………… place marker.
SM………………… slip marker.
Repeat ()……….. repeat what is written between the brackets.
( )x …………….. repeat what is written between the brackets, x
means times.
SSK ……………… slip, slip, knit. Decreases one stitch.
Slip two stitches knitwise one at a time to right
hand needle. Insert left hand needle through the
front of the two slipped stitches. Wrap yarn
around the right hand needle and pull the loop
through both of the slipped stitches to knit them
together.
