Flicker is a fairly simple mosaic crochet pattern for you to incorporate into your scarves, totes, hats, or whatever! It is written with those who have not yet tried mosaic in mind. Included project is a table runner made with Hobbii Twister and Twister Solid.

This mosaic crochet pattern can be worked with either the inset or overlay technique. Detailed instructions for both techniques are included. This is a mosaic-beginner-friendly pattern that gives you the option of trying both techniques, and two methods (written instructions and chart) of following the directions.

The samples shown are: a rainbow/grey table runner done in #2 weight yarn (Twister), four repeats wide, using the inset technique with optional SC border shown; and, a blue swatch of #4 weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver), three repeats wide, using the overlay technique.

Quantities of yarn required will vary depending on what you intend to make with this mosaic pattern. The table runner used one Twister and two Twister Solids (incl. SC border), and measured 98”x12.5”.

Materials:

• 3.75 mm hook
• One cake of Hobbii Twister and two cakes of Hobbii Twister Solid in contrasting colour (to make table runner), OR, any yarn in two colours and corresponding hook (to make your own mosaic project).
