Yarn requirements:
The Florence Bonnet is worked in a light DK yarn (160m/ 170 yd per 50g), held together with a lace weight yarn (360m/ 395 yd.

4 mm (US 6) circular needles (for crown and body)
3 mm (US 2.5) circular needles (for double knitted edges)
Construction:
The Florence Bonnet is worked flat, beginning with the crown in a floral lace pattern. Stitches are then picked up along the sides of the crown to form the body. The bonnet is finished with double knitting across the front edge and at the lower edge.
