This is an adaption of my first ever lace pattern.
Making it into a V creates such a lovely wearable shape.

It sits nicely into the nape of your neck, or on your shoulder to wrap around and still look elegant. A bead or small button at the points will allow you to secure it in place as you wish.

It is knitted lace, rather than lace knitting as there is pattern on every row.
The diamond pattern breaks down to a 10-row V pattern worked in a brick repeat.

One skein
800m lace weight. The sample was knitted with Bluefaced Leciester
or
Two skeins of
4 ply 400m merino. Sample 4 ply shawl used 150g to make the same size as the lace weight, but you could keep going to 200g

The pattern is charted and has written instructions.

The shawl is worked from the bottom, 2 sts increasing to the widest point, then divide to work 2 decreasing triangles to finish.

The size is adjustable to the yarn available.
You need to check your yarn used/ left before you start decreasing to see the you have enough to finish.
