MASTER CLASS - WORK YOUR OWN TAILORED DESIGN
The Form & Fit © Design is a tailor-knitted design fully custom-made based on your unique measurements. The sweater has a classic fit with a recommended positive ease of 8-10 cm 3¼ - 4”. But we make the ease you like.

This European Shoulder Construction is knitted top down with an asymmetrical set-in sleeve without subsequent seaming. While working the round neck you start forming your customized Form & Fit © shoulder with asymmetrical knitting of the front, back, and sleeves.

The sweater is knitted in the round. The 1-by-1 ribbed cuff, hem and button band are framed with a lateral braid as a nice small detail which can be varied with different color choices.

In addition to the tailored yoke the pattern offers more fitting options to tailor the body part for your body type: Full Bust Adjustment (FBA), Waist-Shaping (Hour-glass), Hip Shapng (A-line, O-line or V-line), and Full Tummy Adjustment (FTA).

3. Ingesknittinglab starts sketching and customizing your uniquely sized pattern
4. Meanwhile you start swatching and inform Ingesknittinglab once you get blocking gauge
5. Ingesknittinglab sends your personal pattern
6. You start tailorknitting with access to free knitting tutorials
7. We validate the fit with a photo of the yoke worn to see the fit before moving on to the body
8. Besides the milestone check-in’s 1 hour of free consultation is included

SIZES
The pattern offers an infinite number of customized sizes based on 9 standard Sizes: (XS-S) M-L (XL- 2XL) 3XL-4X-5XL based on your cross back at shoulder measurement of (35.5-36.5) 39-40 (40.5-40.5-41.5) 44-45.5 cm or (14¼ -14½) 15½ -16 (16¼-16¼-16½) 17½ - 18¼ inches corresponding to a “standard” sweater bust circumference of (76-87) 99-109 (119-126) 136-148-158 cm or (32 - 36) 38½ -44 (47¼ - 50½) 54½ -59½-62¾ inches. But the size will be anything you need.

YARN
Viking Eco Highland Wool (A 4-ply non-superwash 100% Merino Wool Yarn (or similar non-superwash fiber):
50 grams = 110 m/120 yrds: (8-9) 10-11 (12-13-14) 16-17 skeins of 50 g.

Count 1 skein extra for a contrasting braid color. Count 2 extra if the entire 1-by-1 ribbing in a contrasting color.

GAUGE
After blocking: 20 sts x 29 rows in 1-by-3 ribbing

TOOLS
You use size 4.5 mm US7 circular needles with cables of 60, 80 and 100 cm 24, 32 or 40 inches depending on size and preference,
You use 3.5 mm US 4 circular needles for the braid, and 4 mm US6 for the 1-by-1 ribbing at hem and cuff, and 3 mm US2.5 needles for the modified italian bind-off at the neck band.

A crochet hook 3.5 mm US-E-4/UK-10 to join the lateral braid.

As a lot is going on when tailor-knitting a fitted yoke you need stitch markers in different colors e.g. blue, green, red, purple and orange to help guide the increases and decreases.
