Pattern is written for either fingering or worsted cotton yarn, but any weight yarn can be used. Piece is worked from center out. This pattern can be used as a doily, wash cloth or dish cloth.

Fingering gauge is 7sts X 9 rows on US size 3 (3.25mm) needles.
Worsted gauge is 4sts X 5 rows on US size 6 (4mm) needles.
