Frosthelm Sweater
The Frosthelm Sweater is crocheted from the top down, starting with the collar, working short rows to raise the back of the neck, and crocheting through the yoke using a raglan construction.
Once the sleeves are split from the body, the body is worked on its own in the round, with the sleeves being worked after, also in the round. The ribbing for the sleeves and body is worked separately and then crocheted onto the sweater.
The yardage needed for this pattern will depend on the type of yarn you use. For this pattern, I made a size with a 108 cm (42.5 in) bust and dk weight yarn, which totaled to around 2750 meters.
The recommended ease is aprox. 20 cm (8 in), so choose a size to crochet that is 15 cm (6 in) larger than your chest measurement. The added stitches under the arm will add the ease needed to reach approx. 20 cm (8 in).
