Sand Dollar Polo
This polo shirt is a made to measure pattern, meaning there are no specific stitch counts, measurements, or sizes for this pattern to ensure that you are able to crochet the size that you’d prefer, whether it be true to size or oversized.
This pattern uses Drops Daisy and a 3.5mm crochet hook, but feel free to use what ever yarn and hook size combo that you feel like using to get the look you want for it.
I used around 1540 meters for the size that I chose to make for myself for reference and it is around 10-12 in (25-30 cm) bigger than my bust measurements. You could end up using way less or way more yarn based on the measurements you choose for this project.
There are step by step pictures of the process of this entire garment and also a video stitch tutorial to help those who prefer a visual of what the written stitch instructions are guiding you to do.
The pattern is worked flat, with the sleeves being worked right onto the back and front panels instead of being worked separately. After that, the button bands and collar are worked to complete the polo shirt.
