Cast on and join the Fun of the Fair with these delightful textured Ferris Wheel trousers and dungarees for babies aged 3-12 months. The stitches used are a combination of rib, stocking stitch and polka dot stitch - providing an interesting texture.

The trousers are knitted top down starting at the ribbed waistband and ending at the ankles with a ribbed cuff. The body section is knitted all in one piece ‘in the round’ using a circular needle. The legs continue down, one at a time, from the body section using a set of four double pointed needles. The bib and braces (see Page 6) are knitted ‘to and fro’ from the waistband upwards on a circular needle or two single pointed needles if preferred.

The garments can be knitted using any double knitting yarn of your choice. They look great in plain colours but are even more stunning when knitted in Fair Isle effect yarn - producing the colours and patterns of a revolving Ferris Wheel. There are many bright and interesting Fair Isle effect yarn colourways available. The items illustrated in this pattern booklet were made using ‘Fairground’ by James C. Brett.

Instructions are given for three sizes: 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months.
