☀️ I came to Barcelona for the buildings and fell for the sidewalk

I was surrounded by some of the most beautiful architecture Barcelona had to offer, but I couldn’t stop staring at my feet. This blanket pays homage to the famous tile sidewalk designed by Antoni Gaudi.

The hexagon spoke to me right away. It’s such a mathematical shape, often found in nature, and with every rotation a new shape forms, representing the sun, earth, and sea. It’s one hexagon repeated over and over, and once joined, the result is magnificent.
