Gilded Twilight captures the moment when day and night meet - where golds, blues, and purples come together in a harmonious burst. It’s a time that evokes reflection and peace, with just a touch of magic.

This cowl uses spike stitches and back loop stitches to create a fabric that balances harsher edges with smooth, structured ridges, echoing the gentle contradiction of twilight itself.

This pattern is part of the Duality Duo, alongside Littoral Cowl. They explore how opposites coexist and are strengthened by one another.

Sizing of this cowl is incredibly customizable. Adjusting the starting chain or amount of body repeats can easily change the width or height. Make a close to the neck cowl as written, or lengthen the chain and create an infinity scarf.

The pattern is fully written and includes photo tutorials to assist with the placement of the spike stitches.

Sample cowl used Malabrigo Rios (210 y/192m per 100g)
73g (153y/140m) of MC (Whales Road)
56g (118y/108m) of CC (Sunset)

This will vary based on your tension and any adjustments you make in size.
