GINGER SNAPS :: a pair of fingerless mittens with a folded 2x2 rib cuff and lozenge-shaped cables at the centre. The cables are filled with an elongated seed stitch, and edged with snaking columns of rib. The palm is knitted in plain stocking-stitch, whilst a shaped thumb gusset mimics the contours of the hand and is finished with seed stitch. The gloves are trimmed with a sparkly lurex yarn.

The GINGER SNAPS design features:

  • Folded ribbed cuff
  • Central cable with elongated seed stitch
  • Shaped thumb gusset
  • Sparkly edging
  • Colour blocking

This pattern is written for 3 sizes, and includes both written and charted cable directions
