This triangular, arrow shaped shawl is knitted from the top down. The top edge is designed to curve gently upwards to produce a wide shawl that cradles around your neck and is easy to wear. The shawl is edged in a contrasting yarn to make a dramatic statement edge.

You can make this shawl in any weight yarn by adjusting the number of repeats worked to obtain your desired size.
The shawl is shown in sock weight made with a single skein of Tosh light (smokestack) along with 12g of tosh sock (grasshopper) for the edge.

The gauge is not too important for this pattern as the size is so adjustable.

Sock weight yarn - minimum 384 m for main colour and 46-55m for the edge but you can make any size you like!
