The Golden Fern Sock pattern is a cozy and detailed, botanically inspired knit.

Named for the colorway of the beautiful yarn they were knit up in, the Golden Fern socks feature waves and lines that form the idea of fern leaves. The swirls of eyelets and waves of stitches are created with simple increases and decreases, requiring no cabling.

The design features classic flap and gusset style heel construction tucked between garter framing.
Lateral braids at the cuff and toe provide structure and cap off the central row of stitches that runs down the foot.

They are knit up on size US 1/2.25 mm needles, in fingering weight yarn.

They are sized Kid’s Large Through Adult Medium/Large.

My sample is knit up in Rambler by The Woolly Thistle yarn shop.
