Halloween flag bunting
This pattern includes instructions for three different sizes of triangles for decorative bunting.
Triangles A and B are knitted in garter stitch and triangle C is knitted in stockinette stitch.
All triangles are knitted flat from top to triangle’s tip. And they all start the same way with the same stitch count and create the holes for the string.
Note that the final size of each triangle is affected by the yarn weight.
Size:
Triangle A: 13 x 13,5cm / 5 x 5,3”
Triangle B: 13 x 8 cm / 5 x 3,14”
Triangle C: 13 x 10,5 cm / 5 x 4”
Needles:
4 mm / 6 US DPN
Yarn:
Any scrap yarn in DK / Worsted weight wool / mixed wool
6-10 g per triangle
100 g = 200-230m / 219-252 yds
Gauge
22 sts, 44 rows, garter stitch = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”
22 sts, 34 rows stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”
Required Skills:
Cast on, purls and knits,
yarn over, decreases: skp and 2tog, bind off.
