These fingerless mitts will quickly become your favourite pair to make and wear! The pattern is very simple to knit, using simple increase techniques to create a form fitting thumb gusset. Speaking of fitting, these will fit you, well, like a glove! The strip of ribbing down the front of both gloves, and the ribbing over the thumb, stretch to form perfectly over your hand, creating a firm and cosy fit. These gloves will fit pretty much anyone except little kids or giants. Once people find out about these gems, be prepared to make a pair or two for all of your friends and family.

This pattern uses basic cast on, bind off, make one knitwise (i.e. make one knit stitch), make one purlwise (i.e. make one purl stitch), and rib stitch. Enjoy!
