A free, everyday slip-stitch rib scarf with clean I-cord edges, in unspun wool held double — the little sister to the Season’s End Shawl. Worked flat from the centre out in Höner och Eir’s Nutiden, adjustable to the yarn you have, and a relaxed, beginner-friendly knit.

Sizing: one size, adjustable. Finished length, tip to tip: 152 cm (59.75 in). Centre-width: 8 cm (3.25 in).

Gauge: 22 sts × 30 rows = 10 cm (4”) in the slip-stitch rib pattern on 4.0 mm (US 6), blocked. Swatch worked flat.

Needles: 4.0 mm (US 6), 80–120 cm circulars. Notions: a tapestry needle, scissors.

Yarn: Höner och Eir Nutiden (unspun, ~100 g / ~530 m per plate), held double, colourway ‘Linárva’. ~265 m / 290 yd. Substitute any aran/worsted that meets gauge.
