• DESCRIPTION:
This washcloth has a unique pattern created by crocheting in the third loop only. The third loop is the extra bar created which lies below the front and back loops. The HDC is my favorite stitch because there are so many different looks possible depending on where you put your hook. The texture this stitch creates is great for a washcloth, but also for a scarf or bags!

• GAUGE & SIZING:
Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project. For reference, my gauge is 18 HDC and 13 rows per 4”.
Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a washcloth that is roughly 8 inches by 8 inches.
