One in three adults over age 50 feel isolated. That’s over 40 million older Americans who may not see or hear from anyone on Valentine’s Day.

By knitting this simple heart and giving it to someone, you are helping make one of those adults feel loved.

The pattern is written to make the heart as simple as possible. It’s knit from the bottom up, increasing to make the body of the heart and then divided for the lobes. Instructions are written and charted.
