Heartstrings is a long asymmetrical shawl knit up with two skeins of one of my favorite yarns. When I saw this color way from On The Round I just knew that I had to have it. I commented that this was the color of my heartstrings and I wasn’t exaggerating! I love earthy, moody pinks and purples and I always have. I knew that I wanted to knit a shawl with them, my favorite accessory, and decided to continue with the theme of favorites and use a few diamond lace motifs in the design. The lace is intuitive and looks more complicated than it is. Several of my testers commented that they loved the meditative nature of knitting this and I agree! It just flows off of your needles. This shawl is a collection of some of my favorite things and I couldn’t love it any more! I hope that you like it too!
