This wrap was inspired by The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. I read these books way back when I was in high school and they stuck with me. They’re full of humor, sarcasm and the kind of science fiction ideas that are too far reaching to be believable and yet they’re familiar enough for you to think that they’re possible…maybe even probable. It’s a series where a lot of crazy and improbable things happen and after the year that we have had its humor was a welcome part of my coping mechanisms.

The wrap is worked up with three skeins of fingering weight yarn from Fairy Tale Yarn Company, with color ways from her Hitchhikers collection. It made up of easy eyelets and a fun lace section. It’s easily adaptable for size and yardage and can even double as a towel in case you find yourself needing to escape a Vogon Constructor Fleet. Or worse yet, a Vogon poet. I love this wrap and the colors and was so happy to work with such fun and inspired color ways!!
