This is a versatile pattern that will produce an item that can be used as a rug, bed throw, animal sleeping mat, or as a decorative item.

Size: Instructions are for one size, can be adjusted longer/wider if wanted. The finished size of the rug pictured in this pattern is 34 inches long (from nose to back toes), with 17 inches across the middle belly section. Instructions are written, although there is a photo-tutorial and video link for instructions on how to do the stitch used to complete this rug.

Yarn: To complete the body of this rug, we will be knitting with 3 strands of yarn held together. All listed yarns are used for the completion of this rug:
2 strands of Red Heart SuperSaver in Light Grey, each 350 yds (body colour)
350 yds of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky in Charcoal (body colour)
2 strands of Red Heart SuperSaver in Beige, each 120 yds (leg/snout/ear colour)
120 yds of Red Heart SuperSaver in Warm Brown (leg/snout/ear colour)
15 yds Red Heart Super Saver in Black (nose/claw colour)
