♥ Date night, hands free, purse stays home

The Herringbone Crochet Clutch might be one of my all time favorite makes. I was heading out on a date night and didn’t want to take my purse. I wanted something simple and small that could still be hands free if needed, and this was it.

One ball of cotton yarn makes a clutch, and the herringbone texture looks so polished. It’s free on my blog too.

✨ What makes it work

  • One ball per clutch. About 130 yds of cotton yarn.
  • Herringbone texture. Herringbone double crochet gives a sleek, woven look.
  • Lined and finished. A fabric canvas lining and magnetic closure make it sturdy.
  • Wrist strap option. Add a leather strip to go hands free.
  • You’re not on your own. Video tutorial and written pattern included.
