This was a collaboration by Andeea Rae and Pearl Knit Purl who you can find here https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/pearlknitpurl-ra...

The high bean hat was designed because I wanted a quality knit, double walled beanie, that could be worn sitting high or slouching. It can also be worn with the brim folded for a more traditional look, and with or without the lace triangle showing. The triangle is the strongest shape in the universe. In terms of recovery it is a symbol of strength, experience and hope.

High Bean Hat is constructed in the round as one long piece, starting at the crown of one end. Increases lead to a very long stockinette body. There are different design options available! Lace placement is explained, a midpoint if a two toned hat is wanted, and this is also a great hat for using up scraps! The second half of the body is continued and the decreases for the second crown finish it off. All that’s left is folding the hat in on itself and enjoying it!
