There’s something wonderfully cosy about a cowl you can pull up around your neck when the weather turns chilly.
Hip to be Square combines textured stitches with colourful geometric details, creating a generous, playful cowl that’s as enjoyable to wear as it is to knit.
Worked in the round, the cowl uses one main colour with five small amounts of contrasting fingering-weight yarn. It’s a great opportunity to use mini skeins and leftovers, whether you want your colours to really pop or prefer a more subtle combination.
The pattern includes both written instructions and charts, along with detailed instructions for the techniques used.
Hip to be Square is also part of a coordinating collection with matching hat and mittens.
