Bring the peace of a summer garden to your needles with the Honey Bee Cowl. Inspired by sunny days seeing my children watch the honey bees in our garden buzz from flower to flower.

The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up. It starts with simple ribbing that prevents the cowl from rolling up, but without distracting from the colourwork. The colourwork starts with a small repetitive honeycomb chart before moving into a larger centre panel with a flying honey bee surrounded by pollen. It then ends with some more of the relaxing honeycomb and ribbing.

Sample used approx. 96g black+blue welsh wool in colour Lanto by Midwinter Yarns for main colour, and approx. 39g of Ultra DK by Bluefaced Yarns/Chester Wool as contrast colour
