Honey on Toast is a simple but decorative little lacey dishcloth. It is a nice pattern to pretty up one’s own kitchen, or it can be a lovely gift item as well, even as a set, made with different colours. As it doesn’t require a whole lot of yarn it’s a great way to use up leftovers.
It can also work as a blanket square for a larger project (in that case probably best made with wool yarn).

The pattern comes with charts and row by row written instructions, as well as video demonstrations, and directions on how to adjust size for larger projects like pillow cases, blankets, place mats etc.

Yarn - any cotton, linen or hemp yarn (approx. 150-200 m)
Needles - appropriate for chosen yarn
Gauge - what the yarn dictates
Size - depends on the yarn chosen
(The sample was made with a linen yarn from Aldi UK called Knit&Purl, in Natural colour, held double, on 3,5 mm needles, with a gauge of 21 stsx32 rs in seed st. It measures 65 g and 28 cmx 26 cm. Testers with different yarns used 30-45 g.)
