The Honeypie Socks are comprised of a rather complicated looking stitch pattern which is easier to knit than you would think. You can knit this sock pattern in every colour imaginable but the first version I knit up inspired the name Honeypie because of its glorious colours!

The socks are worked from the cuff down and the toes are grafted using the Kitchener Stitch.

The socks come in four sizes (measured by the circumference of the foot): S (7’’ / 18cm) M (8’’ / 20cm)) L (9’’ / 22cm) XL (10”/ 24cm)

MATERIALS

You’ll need one skein of fingering weight sock yarn and if you want to knit your cuff, heel and toes in a different colour a mini skein of contrasting yarn.

For my original Honeypie socks I used Hedgehog Fibres Sock in “Fool’s Gold” as my main colour and Myboshi Sock Yarn in “Natural” as my contrasting colour.
For my aqua version I used Schwedenrot Yarns Luxury Sock “Water Reflections” as my main colour and “Blueberry Ice” as my contrasting colour.

A set of US size 1 (2.25mm) DPN’s or 9” circular knitting needles or 32” circular knitting needles, whichever is your prefered method for working a small sock circumference in the round.

A tapestry needle to weave in loose ends.
