These very easy to knit socks are a great way to start integrating patterns into your sock knitting. The word lagom is swedish and means not too little not too much, just right. That’s how I think of this sock pattern!

If you are a beginner and are looking for an easy to learn and mesmerize pattern these socks are for you! The pattern part of the socks is comprised with simple knits and purls and after repeating it a few times you’ll know it by heart!

The socks are worked from the cuff down and the toes are grafted using the Kitchener Stitch.

The Lagom socks come in three sizes (measured by the circumference of the foot): S (7’’ / 18cm), M (8’’ / 20cm) and L (9’’ / 23cm).

MATERIALS
One skein of sock yarn (around 350 to 450 yards) and a mini skein in a contrasting colour if you want to knit contrasting cuffs, heels and toes. You probably won’t use the entire skein, depending on how long you knit your socks!

A set of US size 1 (2.25mm) DPN’s or 9” circular knitting needles or 32” circular knitting needles, whichever is your prefered method for working a small sock circumference in the round.

A tapestry needle to weave in loose ends.
