What better way to keep your neck warm and cosy than wrapping it up with a ‘Hug’?

This ultra-bulky/chunky loop cowl flies off the needles and will be ready to wear in no time. Knitted flat and in one piece, this easy to make accessory features cabled edgings with a centre panel of bobbles. To complete the loop, the ends are mattress-stitched together.

Aimed at beginners, the cowl is knitted flat then seamed once blocked. However, more experienced knitters may choose to use a provisional cast on and either graft/kitchener the stitches to finish or use the 3-needle bind-off method.

The Hugs size is very easily modified to wear as a hood or a wider or deeper cowl.

A super fast project ideal for gifts or just knit yourself lots in different colours for your winter wardrobe
