Hyperbolic Crochet Experiment
by May Shehab
I was exploring Hyperbolic Crochet and did a whole lot of research on this topic. I foud it absolutely fascinating! wanted to create different shapes following different hyperbolic formulas. I tried a few myself and wanted to see what others would come up with!
Here is the final outcome! Enjoy
Formula used for these hyperbolic planes is
x = n + 1 where you have 1 increase in every “n” stitches (like increasing in every 3rd stitch) creates a predictable, mathematically perfect ruffle.
