I designed these sweet, little Greenland homes to show my support for Greenland. Bullying is not acceptable on any level and for any reason!

Have you heard of Craftivism? One of Knitting4Peace’s members did a wonderful video on Revolutionary Craftivism. Betsy Greer who coined the phrase said “craftivism is a way of looking at life where voicing opinions through creativity makes your voice stronger, your compassion deeper & your quest for justice more infinite”.

At turbulent and sad times like these, it’s easy to feel we can’t make a difference, but don’t forget how powerful knitters and crocheters truly are!

Construction
The main houses are knit in the round on dpns from the bottom to the top, with how to videos for those who aren’t used to dpns.

The bottoms are left open so that they stand well independently. The roof is knit flat in 2 pieces and joined together with a 3-Needle Bind-off. The embroidery is done with sock yarn and Long and Short Stitches.
