I heart U Socks
The I heart U Socks are a great way to play with colors; You can use up your stash yarns that you only have a few grams of & make the socks as colorful as possible, or for a more casual look, you can make them the same color. It’s up to you :)
The socks are worked toe – up, with gusset increases (you can decide if you want them at the center of the sole or at the sides as usual), short rows & heel flap. The socks are worked with only 1 strand at a time, making the stitch pattern super easy :)
Samples are made in size 2 & my feet are the size of EU 39 / UK 6 / US 8. Please note, that the measurements are taken without stretching the sock. If you’re between two sizes, I recommend choosing the smaller one.

Yarn:
The socks are made with one strand of DK / sport -weight yarn.
The purple + pink sample socks are made with TeeTee Pallas (80% wool, 20% polyamide, 130 m / 142 yds per 50 g), in color 8 (the purple one), and with Gjestal Maija (85% wool, 20% polyamide, 130 m / 142 yds per 50 g), in color 215 (the pink one).
The lighter pink + magenta sample socks are made with Novita Nalle (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 260 m / 284 yds per 100 g), in colors 539 & 519.
Other options for example are Lang Yarns Super Soxx 6-ply, Lang Yarns Alpaca Soxx 6-ply, Regia 6-ply. You can browse for more options here: www.yarnsub.com
When choosing colors, I recommend taking a picture of the yarns & editing it black & white. If you can see the color difference, it means the pattern in the socks will bee visible too :)
