Illusia is a fairy princess in a Finnish fairytale book “Pessi and Illusia”. She descended to earth on a rainbow. The rain stopped and she couldn’t find her way home, and then a spider bit off her wings. It’s a good thing she had such a dear friend in the little troll boy Pessi, who she fell in love with.
This beautiful, green range of yarns reminds me of Illusia and her life in the forest.

The design of this super light moebius lace shrug is part of a knitting kit, made in collaboration with Renaissance Dyeing. Together with other knit designs from 4 different designers world-wide, this shrug was presented during the London Knitnation 29-31 July 2010.

This pattern is available now either
as part of a knitting kit
or it can be purchased individually as a PDF via Ravelry.

The size given is medium/large, the final shrug is about 55 cm wide and 33 cm high. There are instructions, how to make it smaller or bigger.
