Inger Vest
Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) ● Level: 4/5 ● The button-down Inger vest is the epitome of elegance. Knit from cloud-soft cashmere, it doubles as a sleek top during the summer months. As autumn rolls around, the vest transforms into a cozy layering piece underneath a blazer or a cardigan – and if you opt for a bulkier yarn, it easily layers over a shirt, too.
Knitting this vest is a delightfully engaging process, as the repeating cable pattern becomes almost like a mantra, eliminating the need to constantly glance at the chart. The button band and armholes are finished with a double-knit edge, allowing seasoned knitters to truly enjoy these professional, high-end techniques. The final result is a classic piece that will stand the test of time.

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE
The vest has 0–10 cm / 0–4” of positive ease at the bust, meaning the fit is quite close-fitting. Measure your own bust circumference, add 0–10 cm / 0–4” and find the closest size in the size chart. You can also measure a favorite top you already own. Note, however, that since the vest has buttons, don’t choose too small a size.
Sample vest in size 2, model’s bust 80 cm / 31.5”, height 173 cm / 68”.

The button band and armhole edgings are finished in double knitting.
