The Inside-Out Vest is easy to knit- the knitting pattern is almost seamless (just shoulders are joined together). The vest is worked beginning at the hem, bottom up flat in rows. Using Drops Air, or any preferable aran weight yarn, this simple design is knitted using basic stitches. Both sides of the vest are wearable! The pattern for the vest contains written instructions.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
Sts used: K, p, CO, BO.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 7 x 50 g balls 1050 m or 1148 yds using Drops Air yarn 01 shade.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 5.00 mm x 80 cm (US 8).
• 1 Tapestry needle.
SIZES: 7 - 9 y old.

ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
Flat width (just below armhole, not fastened. Picture below) - 42cm / 16 ½ ins.
Length (from top of the shoulder) - 61 cm / 24 ins.

GAUGE (Tension): 11 sts and 18 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over stockinette st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 5 mm (US 8) needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10 cm, take a smaller needle
size. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
