ABOUT JO’S BABY PANTS
Jo’s Baby Pants are a pair of loose, straight-legged baby trousers. The pants are worked top down, starting with a folded waistband that includes an elastic band, created using a provisional cast on. The shape of the pants is formed with increases, then stitches are bound off at the crotch, and the legs are worked separately.

Waist circumference: 38 (42) 46 (50) 52 cm
Leg length: 13 (16) 19 (22) 25 cm

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
3.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles (40 cm or longer; use magic loop if needed). Use double pointed needles for the legs or magic loop.

chosen yarn.

GAUGE
20 sts × 28 rows = 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles

MATERIALS
25 mm wide elastic band
Yarn: 100 (100) 150 (150) 200 g Sock DK by Passionate Yarns (100 g = 225 m), Petunia by Rauma (50 g = 110 m), or another yarn meeting gauge.
The pink pants are knitted in Sock DK by Passionate Yarns, colour Paris, and the lime pants are knitted in Petunia by Rauma, colour Lime Green.
