Jo's Bubble Hat
ABOUT JO’S BUBBLE HAT
Jo’s Bubble Hat is an easy little hat for babies and small children. The hat is knitted top-down in stockinette stitch with increases and a double-folded edge. It’s a quick project perfect as a weekend or holiday project. Finally, a pom pom is made for the top of the hat and sewn on.
SIZES
0–1 mos. (1–6 mos.) 6–12 mos. (1–2 yrs) 2–5 yrs
Head circumference: 34–38 (38–42) 42–46 (46–50) 50–54 cm
MEASUREMENTS
Circumference of hat: 32 (36) 40 (44) 48 cm
FIT
Since head circumference varies a lot among children, it is recommended to measure the child’s head to choose the correct size. If the child’s head circumference is between two sizes, it is recommended to knit the smaller size, as the hat will stretch.

Note: The needle size is only an estimate – depending on which yarn you use, you may need to go up or down in needle size.
