Juni is a soft knit toy for unicorn believers, young and… not so young.

While the pattern calls for worsted yarn on US size 2 DPN, you can size up (or down) your own Juni by changing your yarn/needle combination. The key is to make sure the fabric you knit is tight to prevent your stuffing from poking through your final project.

The pattern includes directions for either a fabric- or a yarn-made tail and mane. Directions are not provided for eyes, though you might wish to add them with embroidery or toy safety eyes. If you do, please keep in mind the age of your Juni’s future owner and make your choice with their safety in mind.
