This is the addendum expansion pack of 26 hexagons that should be added to the three other patterns to this series: “Kaleidoscope Hexagons,” “Kaleidoscope Hexagons 2,” and “Kaleidoscope Hexagons 3.” These charts represent hexagons 59 through 86 in the series. When combined with the first three patterns, this will create a blanket that will cover and drape a king-size bed (pictured in the photo).

The contents of this package include the charts – in color and grayscale – and written instructions to the charts only. Any pattern information is contained within the three Kaleidoscope Hexagons series. A suggested chart for the king-size blanket is also provided.

Each design (chart and written instructions) identifies the total yardage required for the main color as well as the contrast colors. To determine the total yardages for the banket containing all 86 hexagons, simply add these totals to the totals identified in the “Kaleidoscope Hexagons 3” pattern. A 50-gram ball of Knit Picks Palette (fingering weight) is 231 yards and a 100-gram ball of Knit Picks Chroma (fingering weight) is 396 yards. Between this information and the yardage information provided in this expansion pack, you should be able to easily calculate the required amounts. Don’t forget to take into account any wool already purchased for the first three patterns. If you are using this expansion pack simply to swap out hexagon designs, the yardages provided will still be relevant and of use.
