The Kerttu Puppy Sweater is a warm pullover for dog puppies. It is easy to put on for quick potty breaks. Since it knits up super-fast, a knitter lover could easily make matching sweaters for the entire litter!

The pattern includes separate instructions for female and male puppies!

The pattern includes sizes for puppies with a chest circumference of 20–35 cm (8–14 inches) and a length from the neck to the base of the tail of 18–38 cm (7–15 inches).

While a growing puppy will likely outgrow the sweater soon, the sweater can easily be lengthened. A sweater that becomes too small can easily be unraveled and reknitted. By adjusting the number of rows and stitches, the sweater can be adapted for smaller or larger puppies as well.

The recommended yarn weight is Super Chunky or Super Bulky. The model sweaters are knitted with Novita Hygge Wool, which is thick and soft for a puppy. The yarn consumption is 40-120g depending on the size.

The Kerttu puppy sweater is knitted from the collar down to the hem. Ribbing is knitted along the back and under the belly to provide extra stretch.

The pattern is designed to be knitted using five double-pointed 7 mm needles.

Kerttu-pentuneule on lämmin pusero koiranpennulle. Se on helppo pukea nopeita ulkoiluja varten. Koska se on supernopea neuloa aloittelijallekin, innokas neuloja voi tehdä samanlaiset vaikka koko pentueelle!

Helmasta on mukana kummallekin erilliset ohjeet narttu- ja urospennulle!

Mallissa on kokoja pennuille, joiden rinnanympärys on 20–35 cm ja joiden pituus niskasta hännäntyveen on 18–38 cm.

Kasvavan pennun vaatteen käyttöikä on lyhyt, mutta neuletta voi helposti pidentää pennun kasvettua. Pieneksi jääneen neuleen voi helposti vaikkapa purkaa ja neuloa uudelleen. Kerrosten ja kuviokertojen määrää vähentämällä tai lisäämällä sen voi saada sovellettua myös pienemmälle tai isommalle pennulle.

Neuleeseen sopii super chunky - tai super bulky -vahvuinen lanka. Mallineuleet on tehty Novitan Hygge Wool -langalla, joka on muhkea ja pehmeä. Lankaa kuluu 40-120 g koosta riippuen.

Kerttu-pentuneule neulotaan kauluksesta helmaan. Selkään ja vatsan alle neulotaan joustinneuletta, jolloin pusero joustaa myös hieman pennun kasvaessa.

Ohje on tehty neulottavaksi viidellä sukkapuikolla.
